Columbia sophomore Ryan Soulis has committed to Northwestern, Jon Chepkevich (@JonChep) of DraftExpress announced on X.
The 6-foot-10 forward from Athens, Greece averaged 5.8 points. 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.9 blocks in 20.0 minutes per game last season for the Lions. Soulis started 17 of the 26 games he played in, and spent the two years prior at Richmond. Since the Ivy League doesn’t allow transfers, he was able to stay as a sophomore despite playing his third year of college basketball,
but there’s the potential that he’s listed as a redshirt junior to start the 2026-27 season.
Soulis is the seventh transfer addition for Chris Collins this offseason, and he adds even more size for this Northwestern team. He is also the fourth player to be added in this portal class that was born outside of the United States, alongside Okku Federiko, Luke McEldon and Aleksej Kostić.
