The Chicago Bears have had a very surprising draft thus far. On Thursday, they had a player fall into their lap at 25, and we all rejoiced! But then yesterday, they seemed to reach for three players ahead of the consensus, none of whom played defense. A center, tight end, and wide receiver seemed more like a Saturday haul, but the Bears grabbed those three positions for Ben Johnson’s offense in the second and third rounds.
The Bears have four picks today: 129 (4th Round), 144 (5th Round), 239 (7th
Round), and 241 (7th Round)
Check out the SB Nation big board for the full remaining list of their Top 100, but here are the positions that make the most sense.
Defensive Tackle
73) Gracen Holton, Oklahoma
78) Darrell Jackson Jr., Florida State
EDGE
72) Dani Dennis-Sutton, Penn State
81) Joshua Josephs, Tennessee
Cornerback
14) Jermod McCoy, Tennessee
48) Keionte Scott, Miami
70) Keith Abney II, Arizona State
94) Devin Moore, Florida
100) Jalon Kilgore, South Carolina
And I suppose the Bears could look for another weapon for the offense, so…
Runningback
68) Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas
84) Jonah Coleman, Washington
