Bayern Munich has three players among the Bundesliga’s leading goal scorers after Matchday 7, underlining the depth of their attacking options as the race for the Golden Boot begins to take shape.
Niclas Füllkrug leads the way for Werder Bremen with eight goals, while Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick sits among the leading challengers with six. Eintracht Frankfurt’s Younes Ebnoutalib and Mainz‘s Phillip Tietz have also made impressive starts, scoring five goals apiece.
Bayern Munich still has plenty of reasons to be encouraged.
- Michael Olise — 6 goals, 3 assists: Olise leads Bayern’s scoring charts and sits among the Bundesliga’s top goal scorers. His combination of finishing and creativity makes him one of the league’s most dangerous attacking players, and he is already proving to be a decisive figure for Vincent Kompany’s side.
- Harry Kane — 4 goals, 5 assists: Kane’s four goals only tell part of the story. With five assists, he has been just as influential in creating opportunities for his teammates as he has been in finishing them. His ability to contribute in multiple ways remains crucial to Bayern Munich’s attacking dominance.
- Luis Díaz — 4 goals, 1 assist: Díaz, who will be out of action for a stretch, completes Bayern Munich’s trio in the top 10. His four goals highlight the threat he brings in the final third, while his direct running and ability to create problems for defenders give Bayern another dimension in attack.
With Füllkrug, Schick, Ebnoutalib, and Tietz setting the pace, the competition is fierce. However, Bayern’s advantage is clear: they have multiple players capable of challenging for the scoring crown.
Can Olise catch Füllkrug, or will Kane eventually take over the race?
