PFL Brussels may not be flying under the radar anymore.
This Saturday, the PFL holds an event at ING Arena in Brussels, headlined by a welterweight bout between Benson Henderson and Patrick Habirora, but it was an undercard fight that stole the show during the ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday.
Khamzat Abaev and Luca Poclit are set to fight in a welterweight contest on the prelim card this Saturday, but the two prospects seemingly couldn’t wait a few hours to throw down, as they tried to get things started
during their final faceoff. After both going through the rigamarole of weighing in, Poclit charged to the face off with his hands up, eliciting an equally aggressive response from Abaev. Abaev then tried to shove Poclit, leading to a chaotic scene as security tried to intervene, only for a brawl to break out.
PFL commentator and analyst Dana Hardy was in the middle of the faceoffs and nearly ate a kick from Abaev, before almost getting tackled into a split during the ensuing commotion. Security was ultimately able to get the situation under control.
Check out the brawl below.
PFL Brussels goes down Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
