Barcelona legend Pedro Rodríguez announced his retirement this week, bringing an end to a great career for the La Masia product who was an important part of the most glorious period in the club’s history.
The do-it-all forward became a key starter in Pep Guardiola’s historic teams and then became a very important depth piece for the ‘MSN’ trio under Luis Enrique, and he always came up with huge goals in big moments.
Pedro famously scored in all six tournaments in Barça’s historic 2009 Sextuple, including
a last-minute equalizer in the 2009 Club World Cup Final against Estudiantes, and he also scored the winning goal in an unforgettable 5-4 win against Sevilla in the 2015 UEFA Super Cup.
‘Pedrito’ was always one of my favorite players who never quite got the credit for his contributions since he was always surrounded by historically great talent, but Barça fans will always remember him fondly.
So today’s Barca Blaugranes Question of the Day is:
What is your favorite Pedro memory as a Barcelona fan?
Now it’s over to you! Feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and answers in the comments section below!
