Everyone say aloha (aleauxha?) to LSU’s first portal addition: Jackson Harris.
Harris, a wide receiver from Hawaii, is the first ever incoming transfer for The Portal King himself, Lane Kiffin. Jackson
spent his first two collegiate seasons with Stanford before heading ever farther west to play for Hawaii in 2025. This season with the Rainbow Warriors Jackson caught 49 passes for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 10 games played.
This season was by far and away Jackson’s most productive season as a collegiate athlete. In two years with the Cardinal, Jackson caught a total of four passes for 86 yards and found the end zone just once. He was a three-star receiver coming out of the Berkley area, and now will try and elevate his star further this upcoming season in the SEC.
LSU’s going to basically have to restock the entire offense. The Tigers have no quarterbacks on scholarship, only one running back, and are thin at wide receiver as well. Aaron Anderson, Zavion Thomas, and Barion Brown are all off to the NFL Draft, while Jelani Watkins, Kyle Parker, Kylan Billion, and Destyn Hill have all put their names into the portal. In other words, Harris is just the first of many, many incoming transfers for the offense.
