I wrote earlier this week that it is way too early to have the conversation about whether or not Cam Ward is the guy. Ward hasn’t progressed the way we would all like, but you have to realize the situation
he has been dropped into. The offensive line is bad, and his weapons are lacking, to say the least. There are some glaring things that he needs to work on – like taking the easy completion when it is there, not leaving the pocket too early, and being consistent with his footwork. Those things take time for some guys.
