On December 7, the Cincinnati Bengals (3-7) will face the Buffalo Bills (7-3) on the road, but with Cincinnati currently out of contention, the NFL has decided to flex the game.
Instead of playing at 4:25
PM EST, the two AFC teams will play at 1 PM in Week 14.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers game that week will now be at 4:25 PM EST.
While this makes sense in terms of showcasing more meaningful games, it’s somewhat disappointing, as Joe Burrow should be back by that time, and seeing him face Josh Allen for the third (technically fourth) time would be very entertaining.
Burrow, of course, has won both previous matchups, and convincingly so.
But the Bengals’ defense has made the team almost unwatchable.
Before that Week 14 matchup, the Bengals will face the New England Patriots on the road this week and the Baltimore Ravens at home on Thanksgiving.
