All of us at Battery Power wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your families and loved ones.
We have a lot of things to be thankful for as Braves fans, but I want to shout out a few here:
- Alex Anthopoulos – Having a really smart, savvy guy in charge of baseball operations is a huge asset for this organization. Anthopoulos has balanced different timeframes really well and has been a responsible steward at the top of what is one of the most respected organizations in the league.
- Drake Baldwin – Adding a young quality player at a premium position to your core is always a good thing. It’s especially good when that player brings your franchise an extra first round pick in the upcoming draft. We like Drake.
- A still really good core roster, despite some recent shakiness – This team still has a ton of talent on both sides of the ball and has resources to improve the roster now and moving forward.
