According to a report from GiveMeSport journalist and talkSportLive Premier League correspondent Ben Jacobs Bayern Munich and Newcastle United attacker Anthony Gordon have agreed on “broad terms” for a personal agreement, but there is still a gap in what the Bavarians want to pay for a transfer fee vs. what Newcastle United is expecting for the 25-year-old:
Broad terms now in place between Anthony Gordon and Bayern Munich.
However, there remains a gulf in valuation between Bayern and Newcastle with
club-to-club talks ongoing.
NUFC seeking £75m+. There is optimism the club’s valuation will be met given the volume of initial interest.🏴
The transfer fee will be the sticking point and each club could be difficult to move off its number. Can a compromise be met?
The answer to that question will go a long way in determining the rest of Bayern Munich’s summer transfer window plan as Gordon’s transfer fee would be a significant piece of the budget for the summer.
