The biggest game in college football belongs to Bloomington this week.
Indiana is set to take on Ohio State on Saturday afternoon for a top-5 matchup that’s shaping up to be the most consequential home game in the history of Memorial Stadium. The Hoosiers and Buckeyes each have their eyes on Big Ten and national championships this year with Indiana looking to repeat as both.
The eyes of the college football world at large are on Bloomington too. A strong majority of respondents picked this matchup
as the most entertaining ranked game on this weekend’s slate, via a poll ran over in SB Nation’s college football feed.
The matchup, pitted against five others, earned 56.5% of the vote. Notre Dame at BYU came in second with 13.8% of the vote with the remaining four matchups all finishing in single digit percentages.
A lot of people are going to be tuned into this one. It’ll almost certainly be the largest television audience for a game at Memorial Stadium in the facility’s history. It’s a massive opportunity for Indiana to even further cement its spot as one of the premier programs in the sport.
