Oba Femi made an electric return to WWE television last week, absolutely running through the entirety of The Vision to a thunderous ovation. He was only out for a couple of weeks after the faction put the boots to him (and he got into a bit of a dust up with Bronson Reed, that was later downplayed). He was back on Monday Night Raw this week in Milwaukee to talk about the situation and give us an idea of what is next for him.
It didn’t take him long to take aim at Reed, saying he sucks and is the kind
of guy you can’t give an inch to because he’ll take a mile. He acknowledged Reed is a real threat, however, and they need to do things the right way and get their business handled.
That’s why he went to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and got an official contract drawn up for a singles match at the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event scheduled for Oct. 10 in New Orleans. All that was required was a signature from Reed.
Naturally, big Bronson made his way out to do the same as Oba — put his opponent over before saying he’s here “not to compete but to dethrone The Ruler.” He signed on the dotted line.
We have a match!
