Cutter Boley, who played most of the 2025 season at quarterback for the Kentucky Wildcats, is headed to Arizona State, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos.
A Kentucky native who played for Lexington Christian Academy, Boley had a solid redshirt freshman season for the Wildcats. He totaled 2,160 yards through the air, 15 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. His best game of the season came against Tennessee in late October. Despite the loss, he finished the night with 330 yards, five touchdowns, and just
one interception.
Boley was easily among the most promising quarterbacks to play at Kentucky in recent memory. He was named to the All-SEC freshman team and was third in pass completion percentage in the SEC, trailing only Gunner Stockton and Diego Pavia.
The Sun Devils were in the market for a QB1 after Sam Leavitt missed the final five games for the team as he was dealing with an injury and is now in the transfer portal, with UK in the running for his services. Backup quarterback Jeff Sims has run out of eligibility for the Sun Devils.
Will Stein is now on the search for a quarterback as he begins his first season in Lexington as head coach.
