The Cincinnati Bengals were finally able to end the 4-game losing skid Thursday night inside of a packed Paycor Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Joe Flacco was able to completely revive the Bengals’ offense, and both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins had monster games in the 33-31 win.
As fun as it was to see the Bengals’ passing game back on track, the Bengals’ run game was alive for the first time the entire season.
Chase Brown was able to find lanes and rip off multiple big runs behind an offensive
line that was playing with purpose.
Brown was able to tally 108 rushing yards (most of the entire season) on just 11 carries, averaging 9.8 yards per carry against the Steelers’ defense.
With that being said, Brown had the second-highest yards per carry of any running back in a single game in the past 30 years, per Matt Hamilton on Twitter.
Yes, 30 years.
It is amazing to see how much more efficient this offense is when the run game is going at full strength and Brown was able to finally get past the line of scrimmage.
Can the Bengals offense continue this momentum? We shall see against a horrible New York Jets team next Sunday.
