In the wake of Bayern Munich releasing their annual Oktoberfest kit, which looks nothing like the event at all, there are more reported leaks for the color scheme of Bayern’s kits for the 2027/28 season per Footy Headlines:
The Adidas FC Bayern München 27-28 home jersey is set to feature a red that is a little bit darker than the club’s classic bright red – a red with a touch of maroon. Rather than a plain finish, the shirt will incorporate a distinctive
diamond pattern throughout the fabric, drawing inspiration from the Bavarian club’s traditional heritage and the iconic diamonds of the club crest.
The new Adidas Bayern München 27-28 away shirt will be predominantly white, combined with classic navy and red detailing, maintaining the core color palette of the previous season’s hit design.
The new Adidas Bayern München 27-28 third kit will feature a color combination that has never been utilized before in the club’s rich history. A dark khaki base is combined with striking pink applications, creating a bold colorway.
BFW Commentary
Although I said in the sub-headline that the kits scream no-nonsense, I added the word “mostly” because Adidas is allergic to keeping things simple.
The first kit has the makings of a great kit, and it seems identical to the 2013/14 home kit based on the description. That kit also sported a diamond pattern and had white accents and is generally well-received compared to its peers.
The second kit sounds like an updated version of this year’s away kit. Bayern’s 2026/27 away kit has a white base with red and navy accents, and now it’s joined by gold (maybe it references the 2022/23 away kit which was white with gold?)
The third kit is the bold choice. Based on the pictures in the tweet, it looks like a reworked version of Bayern’s 2024/25 away kit.
