Jules Kounde has warned Real Madrid that Barcelona want all three points on Sunday in El Clasico at Camp Nou in La Liga.
Hansi Flick’s side need just a point against their bitter rivals to be crowned champions of Spain yet again but Kounde says his team are not thinking about a draw and want the victory.
“I see the team in great shape, very focused,” he said in a Q&A with the club’s media.
“We’re all really looking forward to playing in El Clásico, and we can even win La Liga with a draw, but a win would
be the best. We trained really well today, and personally, I feel good. We’re very excited.
“We know their strengths and, therefore, we must continue playing according to our own style. We must know how to track back, but the key will be to press effectively.”
Barcelona head into the match off the back of important wins over Celta, Getafe and Osasuna that have put them on the brink of another title, while Madrid’s form has been more patchy heading into the game.
Los Blancos enjoyed victory over Espanyol last time out but have dropped points against Betis and Girona in recent weeks.
