When Bayern Munich is rolling, boy is it fun to watch — even for the players on the field.
For midfielder Joshua Kimmich, the 6-0 beatdown of RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga opener was something to behold.
“It was a very good start to the season, not just the result – but also the way we played. We showed a lot of energy and kept it high until the end of the game. You could see in the second half that 3-0 wasn’t enough. We have the feeling there’s a big difference to the seasons before. Unlike previous
seasons where there was unrest, coaching changes and we were starting from 0, we now have a good basis and automatisms, despite the short preparation,” said Kimmich (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kimmich played an instrumental role from his spot in the midfield as he controlled the tempo of the match. If Bayern Munich can keep up this form, the rest of the Bundesliga could be in trouble.
Welcome to Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show!
This is not your run-of-the-mill gambling show as we are putting more focus on the ins-and-outs of the actual match day’s showdowns, rather than an odds-driven format (but yes, you will get the odds as well). This podcast is for people who watch the Bundesliga intently and who want to dive into some of the big games for each match day. Through that, we will also provide some information that could help those seeking to make a wager or two.
Each week, we will highlight three matches to talk through and break down who has the edge, who might be hurting, who is susceptible to being upset, who’s getting hot, and more! This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Edges and Underdogs, a BuLi Action Show:
- A breakdown of Bayern Munich vs. RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen vs, Hoffenheim, and FC St. Pauli vs. Borussia Dortmund.
- A look around the rest of the league’s matches.
