Rumors for the Day:
- The Wrestling Observer says Adam Pearce teasing Chris Jericho was a way to get walk up fans for Raw this week. It’s not confirmed Chris Jericho is returning as of now but the expectation remains he will sign and be there ASAP.
- For what it’s worth, Jonathan Coachman claims Jericho will not be there but rather returning at Royal Rumble and will have “a whole new look and character.”
- Fightful Select notes that previously reports of AJ Lee’s full time status may have been overblown and that was never being told to them directly. They also can’t say she’ll be working Becky Lynch at WrestleMania but it was mentioned previously.
- They also note that while Britt Baker is still signed to AEW, there remain zero creative plans for her. It’s looking more and more likely she never goes back.
- EVIL is exploring options outside of New Japan Pro Wrestling but AEW is not expected to be among them as Tony Khan is apparently not a fan of his work, per Fightful.
