Well, it’s the first day of March and what more appropriate way is there to mark the start of this page of your calendar than by watching a bunch of Michigan State basketball.
Ladies first, as is tradition. It will be Senior Day at Breslin as the Women’s Basketball Team plays their final regular season game. This year’s seniors are:
- Grace VanSlooten
- Emma Shumate
- Isaline Alexander
- Jalyn Brown
- Marah Dykstra
- Abbey Kimball
- Theryn Hallock (maybe she can get a medical redshirt and come back next year)
Our #15 Spartans host #13 Ohio State with a chance at securing a top-four finish in the conference (we need Minnesota to lose at Illinois in the game airing right after).
The game starts at noon on BTN.
After a short break, the Men’s Team gets going at 3:45 at Indiana. Tom Izzo’s crew is also looking for a top four finish, and getting the road sweep in the “Crossroads of America” would certainly bolster our chances. This game will be broadcast on CBS.
