Former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley, 44, is a two-time NCAA Division I All-American wrestler out of Missouri with 110 career victories, where he served as Team Captain. “The Chosen One” also captured a Big 12 title and a spot in the University of Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame.
Former UFC Middleweight Champion Khamzat Chimaev, 32, is a three-time Swedish Freestyle National Champion and a bronze medalist in the Russian junior wrestling championships. That sounds impressive on paper, but
“Borz” also stands accused of being a 25-year-old man wrestling teenagers.
That didn’t stop the bookies at BetOnline from pushing Chimaev to -5000 on the moneyline for his RAF Moscow wrestling match against Woodley this weekend in Russia. Whether or not fans can actually watch the bout on FOX Nation has yet to be determined, thanks to this ongoing drama.
