The Missouri Tigers completed their first day of the competition, with multiple program records and personal bests on Friday, Feb. 13 in Fayetteville and Boston.
BU Valentine Invitational Results
3000m Record Time Run
Senior Drew Rogers claimed second overall during the race with a new school record time of 7:49.00 minutes. Teammate Ryder James claimed a top-10 program record and placed No.38 with a time of 8:00.51 minutes.
Men’s 1 Mile Run
Carter Spradling placed No.50 overall in the race and sixth in his
heat, with a time personal best of 4:03.49. Following him, Ethan Zuber finished with a time of 4:08.63 at No.116.
Men’s 5000 Run
Tyler Freiner placed No.51 in the race with a time of 13:57.80 minutes. Elijah Limo claimed No.88 with a time of 14:08. 52 minutes, Alongside them, Joshua Allison finished at No.123 and Ethan Hogan finished at No.161.

Tyson Invitational Results
Men and Women’s 60m Hurdles University (Prelims)
Senior Dillon Leacock started off the event for the Tigers and finished with a dash of 8.20 seconds, placing No.32 overall in the race. On the women’s side, Brianna Utecht claimed No.35 in the dash and second in her heat, with a time of 8.72 seconds.
Men and Women’s Weight Throw University (Finals)
Senior Sam Innes placed No.10 overall with a throw of 21.83 meters. Alongside him, teammate Garik Pozecki placed No.26 with a throw of 19.61 meters. For the women, Reagan Kimrey placed No.18 overall with a throw of 19.55 meters. Ames Burton finished at No.24 with her season best throw of 17.93 meters.
Men’s 3000m University (Finals)
Freshman Joseph Bariola placed No.28 overall in the race with a time of 8:24.60 minutes. Alongside him, Andrew Hauser finished at No.35 with a time of 8:35.65 minutes.
Men’s 60m University (Prelims)
Senior Robert Hines placed No. 35 overall with a sprint time of 6.88 seconds.
Men’s 400m University (Finals)
Leacock finished No.50 overall and claimed a top-10 school program record during his 400m run of 47.61 seconds.
Men’s 800m University (Finals)
Hauser finished at No.43 with a time of 1:54.13 minutes

The Tigers are set to take on more elite competition tomorrow at both the BU Invitational and the Tyson Invitational. After closing out the first day of races on a high note, they’ll look to carry that momentum into tomorrow’s slate of events and build on their early success.
