It all goes down tomorrow night (Sat., Oct. 4, 2025) at UFC 320 LIVE on ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as UFC Light Heavyweight king Magomed Ankalaev puts his 205-pound crown on the line against fearsome knockout artist Alex Pereira.
On Friday evening, the two rivals came face-to-face for one final staredown at the UFC 320 weigh ins (watch HERE).
After more than a month without a pay-per-view (PPV) event, it’s great to have two high-profile championship matches
booked for this card. Ankalaev and Pereira may have fought earlier this year, but that first contest was somewhat disappointing, as neither man could really implement his game plan. Both have claimed injuries held them back, so hopefully this do-over provides the fireworks.
In the co-main event, Bantamweight king Merab Dvalishvili looks to gain distance in the “Fighter of the Year” race by securing his third title defense of 2025. He faces veteran contender Cory Sandhagen, an ultra technical and savvy finisher who intends to disrupt “The Machine.”
The faceoff between Ankalaev and Pereira at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference (replay HERE) was an intense moment, so fight fans were unsure how the final staredown would go. Fortunately, neither man got physical even if the air was electric. After UFC CEO Dana White broke the duo apart, Pereira refused to break eyes with his opponent.
Check out the final main event staredown below along with some other key matchups from UFC 320’s PPV main card:
Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira
Merab Dvalishvili vs. Cory Sandhagen
Jiri Prochazka vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.
Josh Emmett vs. Youssef Zalal
Abus Magomedov vs. Joe Pyfer
