Are you ready for a rematch of the 2025 NLCS? The Dodgers swept the Brewers in last year’s NLCS in easy fashion. The Brewers scored just four runs in the series, one in each game. I, like most baseball fans I suspect, hope they can do better this time around.
The final four teams standing are the Dodgers, Brewers, Rays, and Guardians. That’s a team that has won the last two World Series, two teams that have never won, and a team that last won in 1948. Unless you are a full-time Dodgers fan, rooting
for them in this postseason is a bad look.
In the regular season, the Brewers went 4-3 against the Dodgers. It was a very even series; the Dodgers outscored them 27-25. The Brewers are the top see in all of baseball this year with 103 wins. They were also the top seed last year but it didn’t help them much.
Tonight’s pitching matchup is dreamy, to say the least. The Dodgers are sending out Tarik Skubal, the two-time reigning AL Cy Young. For the Brewers, it’s Jacob Misiorowski, who led the league in ERA, WHIP, and strikeouts this season. He regularly throws over 100 mph, and I mean regularly. It’s a pitching matchup that makes me feel like the Orioles getting their on Championship Series is so far away.
