Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong has already taken home three awards this offseason — Player of the Year from Baseball America and the Players Choice Awards, and a Gold Glove.
Thursday, Louisville Slugger announced “finalists” (really just the top vote-getters) for its Silver Slugger awards.
PCA and Seiya Suzuki were finalists for the NL outfield awards. There were seven “finalists” and three will be chosen (regardless of position). The other four: Corbin Carroll, Jackson Chourio, Fernando Tatis
Jr., Jordan Walker and James Wood.
Alex Bregman and Max Muncy were the two “finalists” at third base.
It’s entirely possible that all three Cubs “finalists” will win Silver Sluggers this year. For Suzuki and PCA, it would be their first such award. Bregman won a Silver Slugger in 2019 with the Astros and 2026 was clearly his best offensive season since then.
The winners of the 2026 Silver Slugger Awards will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 17.
