Last year marked the first time Arizona and Cincinnati played in football, and to welcome the Wildcats to the Eastern Time Zone the game kicked off at 9 a.m. Tucson time.
Payback time, Bearcats!
Arizona’s Big 12 home opener against Cincinnati on Oct. 3 has been slated for an 8 p.m. PT kickoff, with Fox airing the game. It will be the UA’s third night game of the season at Casino Del Sol Stadium, and it will be Family Weekend as well as Pacific Islander Heritage Night.
Cincinnati (3-0) will be making its first trip to Tucson after opening with four straight games in its own city. The Bearcats host Kansas State on Saturday in their Big 12 opener and already have wins over Boston College, Western Carolina and Miami (Ohio).
The UA won last year’s meeting, 30-24, a game that saw Noah Fifita break the school career passing touchdown record.
Arizona (2-1) has won six consecutive home games that start at 6 p.m. local time or later but this will be the first in Big 12 play since a Friday night win over Houston in 2024. This will be the latest kickoff at Casino Del Sol Stadium since the UA’s first conference home game, in 2024 against Texas Tech.
