The season is winding down and turkeys everywhere are in witness protection! Welcome to the week 13 edition of our weekly recurring Where We Be, What We Be Drinking column, where we learn what the OTE
“writers” will be doing this gameday. Please note that we are contractually obligated to not watch the games.
RMB: Per usual I’ll be parked on sectional in my basement, sipping iced tea (green tea is my preference), and participating in the game threads to give myself the illusion I have friends. In fact, I’ll be alone. So alone.
BRT: I will be traveling to North Carolina for Thanksgiving! Have fun illustrating that, HB.
If all goes to plan, I should land in time to at least check in on scores for game time. During airport waits, I suppose I will be keeping RMB company and contributing to his illusions.
HoustonBoiler: Challenge accepted!
thumpasaurus: I will be in and around Detroit, it’s unclear exactly where at this time. The house is now winterized so I don’t have to do any of that this weekend. I’m playing til midnight on Friday so I’m sure my early drink is Liquid IV, but my stash still has a fair amount of Bell’s No Yeah, which is Just A Really Nice Beer:
Brian: I’ll be enjoying one more weekend of Southern California sunshine (and the occasional rainy day) before heading to Michigan for the holidays … and The Game.
As for the WWBD part, Thump has piqued my interest with Bell’s “No Yeah” beer.
MNWildcat: I’ll be in the Madison area, visiting friends and our godson. My friend (a filthy badger) and I (notably my) have mused publicly whether our wives would give us permission to attend the 11am game in Chicago, then the badger game at 6:30pm.
We have been warned to shut the fuck up.
As a result, I’ll be drinking some Octopi Brewing (host’s choice), whatever whiskey I bring from Minnesota (as of now: Panther), and probably New Glarus when we run out of those.
HWAHSQB: I’ll be picking up my fiancée from MSP so probably drinking tea.
MNWildcat: Fiancée! This feels like a development! Congratulations!

HoustonBoiler: Bye week! You will be surprised to know that I still have mulch to spread so I will be at home working on that this weekend. A work colleague/friend of Mrs. HB will be visiting on Sunday, so there will also be house cleaning to do. Mrs. HB and I will be drinking wine on Saturday evening like we usually do.
