Jake Paul is scheduled to box Gervonta Davis in a special exhibition fight at Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla., on Fri., Nov. 14, 2025, streaming live on Netflix.
I guess Peter Dinklage wasn’t available.
Following
their kickoff press conference in New York City, Paul (12-1) was dogged by fight-fixing allegations, yet again, suggesting that “Tank” was being paid to take a dive.
“Reading tweets by these slugs saying Tank is going to take a dive,” Paul wrote on social media. “I’m really that f**king great that you all are making excuses already. If I walk on water they will say it’s because I can’t swim.”
Hard to imagine Davis (30-0-1) giving up his unblemished record simply for a Paul payday, though it doesn’t sound like “Tank” is putting much effort into his training camp.
“I think it’s gonna be good, he been in the gym and he been boxing for a little minute now so he been taking it serious,” Davis said at the presser. “We just gotta see what he brings come … uh… when are we fighting again?”
Welcome to the new era of combat sports.
