Bayern Munich have their eyes on one of the brightest young talents once again. German youth international and FC Köln talent has burst onto the scene this season with an incredible start. El Mala is a massive reason for Köln’s remarkable success this season after earning promotion to the Bundesliga last season.
FC Köln know what they have in El Mala, and have already communicated that they know they will have to eventually sell El Mala. That being said, they won’t be rushing to dump their best prospect
either. According to Bild, Köln will only listen to offers of 50 to 60 million euros next summer.
Köln have no interest in selling the 19-year-old in January, so clubs will have a full season to determine the true value of the player. While he is off to an incredible start, there is possibility he slows down, and the market value might come down to a more reasonable number.
With Bayern Munich missing out on both elite German talents Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade, is this their chance to redeem and add another German international to their side? Hard to tell this early, but if he does keep this up, the transfer fee could increase even more.
