Barcelona stars Pedri and Marcus Rashford were both in action on Tuesday night in World Cup qualifying as Spain and England enjoyed wins.
Rashford was a second-half substitute for the Three Lions in a 5-0
win over Latvia that has secured a place at World Cup 2026 for Thomas Tuchel’s side.
The Barcelona loanee was given the last 20 minutes and looked really lively. Most importantly, he will now head back to Barcelona without too many minutes in his legs from the international break.

The same can’t be said for Pedri who started once again for Spain. Barca’s midfield maestro once again proved influential as La Roja beat Bulgaria 4-0.
Spain boss Luis de la Fuente finally gave Pedri a rest after 68 minutes, with his team already 2-0 up, and the Barca star departed to a standing ovation after another stellar showing.
Pedri will now return to Barca and may start again on Saturday as Hansi Flick is without a host of key players due to injury for the clash against Girona.
