Marc Casado made his return from injury on Saturday for Deportivo in a 0-0 draw against Espanyol in La Liga.
The midfielder has been out since suffering a fractured collarbone in September that required surgery and forced the 23-year-old onto the sidelines.
Casado made his return at the RCDE Stadium, coming on as a substitute and playing the last 18 minutes for his side in the match.
Espanyol fans, predictably, gave Casado a pretty hot reception which did not surprise the Barcelona man at all. Casado admitted
it’s not been that long since he was celebrating winning La Liga with Barca at Espanyol’s home.
“We’re happy with this point. I knew I was coming to this stadium and that I’d get a reception like this, I have no problem with it,” he told the media afterwards.
Casado’s Deportivo are due to face Barcelona in La Liga after the international break. The Catalans travel to A Coruna on 29th November.
