The Green Bay Packers will be without kicker Brandon McManus, who told the press that he would be ready to go for this game against the Cincinnati Bengals earlier this week. McManus injured his quad during Wednesday’s practice, leading to him being limited on the injury report throughout the week.
Just yesterday, the Packers signed kicker Lucas Havrisik, who comes to the team via the UFL. For the most part, Havrisik has been good from 40 yards and under (the 28-yard line and in), but has been shaky
beyond that range.
The good news for Green Bay is that cornerback Nate Hobbs (concussion) and starting offensive linemen Rasheed Walker (quad), Aaron Banks (groin/knee) and Zach Tom (oblique/back) will all be active in this game after being listed as questionable on Friday. Because of the relatively “healthy” line, the Packers only had to name four inactives in this game — including healthy scratch Kamal Hadden.
Packers Inactives Week 6
- OT Anthony Belton (ankle)
- DT Devonte Wyatt (knee)
- CB Kamal Hadden
- K Brandon McManus (quad)
Rookie defensive tackle Warren Brinson will make his NFL debut today due to Wyatt’s knee injury.
Bengals Inactives Week 6
- WR Jermaine Burton
- TE Cam Grandy
- G Dylan Fairchild (knee)
- DE Shemar Stewart (ankle)
- DT Jordan Jefferson
- CB Marco Wilson
Star receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who was placed on the injury report on Friday with an illness, will suit up for the Bengals today. Cincinnati will be down preferred starting guard Dylan Fairchild, though, as well as first-round rookie defensive end Shemar Stewart.
