In September, Savannah DeMelo was taken by ambulance from a match against the Seattle Reign because of a medical emergency.
Today, she has provided a positive update on her recovery:

On a serious note, the prayers and messages received the last couple months have meant the absolute world to me. Soccer has allowed me to meet and cross paths with the most amazing
people! A special shout out to all the rocks in my life who have been with me every step of the way ( you know who you are)
