You know it, I know it, everyone knows it: the Allen Iverson-era throwback uniforms are returning for the upcoming season with your Philadelphia 76ers. Fresh off their alternate court debut, the only thing
left was seeing the remastered jerseys. That wait ended Wednesday, when the Sixers officially unveiled them.
The Sixers’ throwback court included several modern updates compared to the original, but the uniforms are a different story. For the most part, they stay true to the classic design. Looking at the jersey itself, you’ll be hard-pressed to spot many differences. The biggest change comes from the jersey template: the shoulder areas are slimmer, a result of today’s manufacturing styles. Beyond that, a retro Nike logo appears on the right chest, while the Sixers’ sponsor, Crypto.com, is displayed opposite it. The NBA logo, once placed on the front, now sits above the player’s last name and number on the back, in line with the league’s current standard.
Otherwise, the uniform carries over the same stitching outline, highlighted by a dark red accent with black and gold trim along the interior. Even the collar stays true to the original, featuring a subtle point design with a bronze star centered at the neckline.

The shorts stay true to the originals, with only a few minor adjustments to fit Nike’s modern template. Along the bottom, they feature the same black, dark red, and bronze accents true to the classic design, while the top stitching carries those same details.
Beyond those subtle tweaks, the waistband still showcases the traditional red, black, and bronze cuffing, paired with a retro Nike logo on the left side and the NBA logo on the right. And yes, the iconic “76” logo with the star and swooping basketball is still there. The swoops may be gone from the new court, but they proudly remain on the shorts.

Fans have waited — frankly, far too long — for the Sixers to bring back this fan favorite. Now that it’s here, it’s clear they didn’t take any half measures. These uniforms are essentially a direct copy of the originals, with only the necessary modern tweaks. They’ll pair perfectly with the new court, giving fans the chance to see today’s Sixers (and maybe even the next generation) wearing one of the franchise’s all-time great looks.
If you want to see these uniforms live in action, the first opportunity comes on Nov. 8 when the Sixers host the Toronto Raptors. The team will wear them sporadically throughout the 2025–26 season, so be sure to check the schedule for all the dates honoring the 2001 Eastern Conference Championship team.
