Not many players had a better grassroots season than 2028 Kentucky Basketball recruiting target Brady Pettigrew. He averaged more than 24 points per game along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists to win the Nike EYBL’s first-ever 16u MVP award.
To end his season, Pettigrew went off for 32 points and hit the game-winner to secure the 16u Peach Jam title.
Shortly afterward, Pettigrew earned an offer from Mark Pope and Co. and scheduled a visit to Lexington. Originally set to visit Kentucky this past weekend,
Pettigrew has rescheduled his visit to the weekend of December 12th and will be in attendance when the Wildcats take on in-state rival Louisville, first reported by 247 Sports.
Pettigrew has already visited three schools, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois, and is set to visit at least four more: North Carolina, Ohio State, Kentucky, and Arkansas. A top-10 player in the 2028 class and the top-ranked combo guard, Pettigrew is also a reclass candidate.
Illinois is viewed as the favorite for Pettigrew, an Illinois native, who has been building a relationship with him since he was in eighth grade. Kentucky is taking their best to attract one of the best scoring prospects in the country.
