Week 8 is upon us, as the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins prepare to face-off on Sunday. The Falcons held a dress rehearsal on Wednesday, so Thursday was their first official practice of the week. We have
several injuries that we are monitoring on both teams, so let’s take a look.

First looking at the Falcons, the only addition was tight end Felipe Franks who has a calf issue which kept him limited. We are keeping an eye on EDGE Jalon Walker who was absent in Week 7, and remains held out of practice as he heals from a lingering groin issue. There’s a good chance the Falcons will be without Walker again in Week 8. Additionally, quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is dealing with a knee injury but it sounds like Penix should be good to go on Sunday.
For the Dolphins, the most notable is that receiver Jaylen Waddle has not one, but two hamstrings that are bothering him. He was limited so it’s likely he will play Sunday, barring any setbacks on Friday.
