Good morning, it’s Sunday, December 14. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 15-11 and host the Charlotte Hornets today at 3:30. Let’s look ahead at today’s slate of games.
Today’s game of the day
- Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers – 8 PM, NBA League Pass
There has been some West Coast bias here recently. But hey, they’ve given us the best games lately.
The Lakers (17-7) are on the road against a Suns (14-11) team that has been surprisingly competitive. Luka Doncic and LeBron James are, of course, must-see TV. But the Suns have put together a fun squad led by Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks and sharpshooter
Grayson Allen.
If you’re looking for a Cavs angle, then you can root for either LeBron James or former Cavs assistant (and now head coach of the Suns) Jordan Ott.
This game also has a favorable start time for all of us who want to watch Western Conference basketball without staying up until 1 am.
The rest of the NBA slate
- Washington Wizards at Indiana Pacers – 3 PM
- Charlotte Hornets at Cleveland Cavaliers – 3:30 PM
- Atlanta Hawks vs Philadelphia 76ers – 6 PM
- Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets – 6 PM
- Minnesota Timberwolves vs Sacramento Kings – 7 PM
- Chicago Bulls vs New Orleans Pelicans – 7 PM
- Portland Trail Blazers vs Golden State Warriors – 9 PM
