The Denver Broncos lost in pretty much all phases of the game last night: offense, defense and special teams.
Inactives for this game against the Kansas City Chiefs were Same Ehlinger, Tyler Badie, Kage Casey, Dallen Bentley, Jordan Jackson, and Tyler Onyedim.
The only player who was active and did not play was Jarrett Stidham.
Offensively, the entire OL and Bo Nix played all 51 snaps.
Courtland Sutton, Jaylen Waddle, and Pat Bryant played 39, 38 and 30 snaps respectively. Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims
played 17 and 9 snaps on offense.
Evan Engram, Adam Trautman, and Nate Adkins played 32, 19, and 13 snaps.
RJ Harvey, JK Dobbins and Jonah Coleman played 26, 22, and 3 snaps. Adam Prentice played 6 at fullback. Patrick Surtain played one snap on offense on that final kneeldown in the game.
Defensively three players played every snap (69): PS2, Talanoa Hufanga and Riley Moss. Alex Singleton played all but one snap on defense and missed 700 tackles during the game (not really with the missed tackles).
Brandon Jones played 65 defensive snaps.
Justin Strnad played 55 snaps on defense. While Jordan Turner played 2.
Ja’quan McMillian and Jahdae Barron played 49 and 4 snaps at CB.
On the DL Zach Allen, Eyioma Uwazurike, DJ Jones, Malcolm Roach and Sai’vion Jones played 42, 41, 39, 32, and 15 snaps.
At edge Jonah Elliss, Nik Bonitto, Dondrea Tillman, and Que Robinson played 40, 36, 32 and 32 snaps. The fact the Bonitto played fewer snaps than Elliss troubles me. I’m not sure what to make of this. Jonah Ellis had one tackle and one QBhit. Nik Bonitto had two tackles and nothing else (besides some missed tackles).
Devon Key, Tycen Anderson, JL Skinner, Kris Abrams-Draine, and Karene Reid played on special teams but not on defense. Alex Forsyth, Alex Palczewski, and Matt Peart played on special teams, but did not play on offense.
