Tiffany Stratton was off WWE programming for nearly three months following her loss of the WWE women’s championship to Jade Cargill in early November.
Now that she’s back on SmackDown, Tiffany told the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast that it’s time to freshen up her character. She also took a shot at WWE’s creative story-telling, or lack thereof, while answering a question about whether she is a babyface or a heel.
“That’s a really good question. I’m kind of just like, me. I feel like for the longest,
for the past year, I was kind of stale. I felt like there wasn’t any crazy storylines after I won the title. And I kind of want to bring back some spunk. So, we’re gonna be even more heelish Tiffany. Yeah, we’re gonna play around with some things. So, I’m excited for that. But yeah, I’m not really sure why the crowd cheers me…”
Did you know that Tiffany Stratton is supposed to be a heel? I’m not sure that I did, and I guess that’s part of the problem.
Are you surprised that yet another WWE star is criticizing the promotion’s creative direction? Let me know your thoughts on how much spunk you expect Stratton to bring back this year, Cagesiders.
