With their loss to the Javelinas in the Division Series, the Arizona Fall League has officially come to an end. Let’s dive into last week performance and take a glance at what each Braves prospect did
over the league.
Patrick Clohisy
2 Games
2-for-10, 3B, 2 R, RBI, SB
21 Games
.284/.389/.383, 13 BB, 12 K, 22 SB
Patrick finished the week with a 2-for-10 performance across a pair of games. He went 2-for-5 with a triple in his first game, and went 0-for-5 in the Division Series games. On the season, Patrick showed up with a .772 OPS and went 22-for-24 in the stolen base department. He showed a good approach with 13 walks and just 12 strikeouts, continuing a trend from the season. For the full year Patrick had 101 stolen bases on 120 attempts (84%) and really broke out this season.
Nacho Alvarez Jr.
2 Games
4-for-9, 3 R, 2 RBI, SB, BB
20 Games
.324/.457/.486, 7 2B, 3B, HR, 16 BB, 13 K
Nacho appeared in two games in the final week and collected four hits and his fifth stolen base, and three runs. Nacho appeared in twenty games in the Arizona Fall League and hit a robust .324/.457/.486 with a great 16 walk to 13 strikeout ratio. While the league was extremely hitter friendly, Nacho still stood out with a great .943 OPS. He finishes the year with 98 games played with a flurry of a finish making next season pivotal for the third baseman.
Jim Jarvis
2 Games
2-for-6, BB, 2B, RBI
16 Games
.259/.394/.426, 12 BB, 9 K, 3 2B, 2 HR
Jim appeared in a pair of games last week going 2-for-6 with yet another walk and a double. Jim appeared in 16 games and hit .259/.394/.426 mainly playing shortstop. On the year after being traded to the Braves, Jim did a great job of providing positional versatility while showing a strong walk rate which inflated his OBP. His ability to put together quality at bats as well as his versatility give him legitimate MLB bench potential. An uptick in power in his age 26 season next year would really help, but overall it was a relatively solid year for the player acquired for Rafael Montero.
Jhancarlos Lara
1 Game
0.2IP 1H 1ER 2BB 2K
11 Games
2.61 ERA, 13.9 K/9, 10.5 BB/9, 1.645 WHIP
After a strong past few appearances Lara appeared in one game last week and struggled with his command – walking a pair of batters and giving up an earned run. He finishes the AFL with a 2.61 ERA, across 11 games and showcased the premium stuff that confounded hitters all year shown by his 13.9 K/9 rate. The issue continued to be the walks as he finishes with a 10.5 BB/9 rate in those 11 games, and 8.5 BB/9 rate from the season.
LJ McDonough

10 Games
4.50 ERA, 11.3 K/9, 3.8 BB/9, 1.583 WHIP
LJ picked up a blown save last week despite a solid appearance – striking out five over 1.2 innings pitched. LJ appeared in 10 games for the Desert Dogs to mixed results – he had a strong 11.3 K/9 rate, but struggled with surrounding contact – allowing nearly 11 hits per 9 innings.
Trent Buchanan

1.1IP 1H 1ER 2BB 1K
9 Games
10.57 ERA, 8.2 K/9, 10.6 BB/9, 2.739 WHIP
Trent appeared in a single game last week and surrendered an earned run with a pair of walks. Overall, Trent had a forgettable Arizona Fall League, shown by his robust 10.57 ERA. He had a 10.6 BB/9 rate, and surrendered a 14.1 H/9 rate which inflated his WHIP all the way up to 2.739. After a very strong 2025 campaign, it’s safe to say Trent will push this stint in the AFL aside as he gets ready for 2026.
Jacob Kroeger
5 Games
6.14 ERA, 11 K/9, 7.4 BB/9, 1.773 WHIP
Jacob had an up and down AFL season, showing his promise with a great 11 K/9 rate, but also struggled with walks and hits as seen by his 1.773 WHIP. It was a bit of a disappointing end after an absolutely superb year for Jacob who had an 1.98 ERA across 23 games in Rome and Augusta.
Luke Sinnard
5 Games
4.60 ERA, 11.5 K/9, 3.4 BB/9, 1.404 WHIP
After a magical start to the AFL season, Luke started running into potential fatigue problems as he hit a new career high in innings pitched which translated to his walk rate moving up to 3.4, while allowing three homers. Overall, however, Luke appeared in five games as a starter and was one of the best starters in the league, putting together a 4.60 ERA and impressive 11.5 K/9 rate. Luke’s ability to throw five pitches really stole the show in the AFL as it gave him the ability to showcase his impressive pitch metrics on a more national scale. It was a great year for Luke who looks to put his name up on a more national scale in 2026.
