After a delightful win in the series opener, the San Francisco Giants are back at the ballpark to take on the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight, in the second game of a four-game series. We wish them the best in this journey.
It’s right-hander Adrian Houser on the mound for San Francisco, as the 10-year veteran makes his eighth start with the Giants. Houser has struggled this year, going 0-4 with a 6.19 ERA, a 5.57 FIP, and 19 strikeouts against 11 walks in 36.1 innings. He was excellent his last time out,
though, allowing just two runs and one earned run in six innings against the San Diego Padres.
On the other side is reigning World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who is also making his eighth start. The 27-year old All-Star is 3-2 on the season, with a 3.09 ERA, a 3.53 FIP, and 40 strikeouts to 10 walks in 43.2 innings. He allowed three runs in six innings against the Houston Astros in his last start.
Enjoy the game, everyone. Beat LA!!!
