Kramer’s take
I would give the Chiefs a grade of B+ if this ends up being their draft.
General manager Brett Veach heavily addressed Kansas City’s defense, selecting players on that side of the ball with four of the team’s first five picks. The Chiefs needed to add an offensive playermaker, and I’m
not sure Klare at tight end is the weapon the offense needs in the third round.
Kansas City did draft a wide receiver, but not until the sixth round. We all know how sixth-round wide receivers usually turn out in the NFL.
