The Washington Commanders are back on the practice fields of Ashburn for Day 15 of training camp.
Dan Quinn added this Monday afternoon to the schedule, something the Commanders head doesn’t regularly do. It was important to get some extra work in during a week that he
“Going through it, we felt like this was a chance to throw three more days in a row,” Quinn told reporters during his pre-practice press conference. “It’ll feature, today’s group, more of the 1s as far as the reps go. I thought it was the right
call to make.”
That means more work for quarterback Jayden Daniels and his first team offense, plus additional reps for defenders we’ll see often during the regular season.
Quinn also provided some injury updates, with defensive lineman Tim Settle (calf) getting back to work this week. Running back Rachaad White is also working back into the mix, while Bill Croskey-Merritt (undisclosed) will be working on the side with trainers.
Center Nick Allegretti (calf) still isn’t ready to return and could be out the full practice week.
Hogs Haven will be covering everything over the course of camp as we prepare for the new season!
