Milan will aim to register a victory this weekend when they host Serie A rivals Roma at the San Siro.
Coming on the back of two frustrating draws, Milan know that they require a statement win in their upcoming fixture to put momentum into a potential Scudetto charge. Massimiliano Allegri’s men are now nine games unbeaten across all competitions, level on points with Inter, three points behind Roma and four away from leaders Napoli. While the Rossoneri lost their last clash 3-1 against this weekend’s
opponents in Rome, the hosts still have a historic record in their favour to build upon for the game.
Christian Pulisic will miss the match as he is expected to be fully fit after the international break. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ardon Jashari have returned from their respective injuries.
Despite going down 2-1 on a shocking display against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, Roma turned the tide by snatching two victories over Sassuolo and Parma. Mario Hermoso and Artem Dovbyk were on the scoresheet to hand Giallorossi the three points from their previous outing. Gian Piero Gasperini has faced problems in attack this season, and it got worse when Evan Ferguson limped off the field during the Parma game. Dovbyk could get the nod to star,t but Paulo Dybala remains firmly in the running.
Here are the predicted line-ups for the match:
AC Milan (3-5-2): Maignan; De Winter, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Fofana, Modric, Ricci, Estupinan; Nkunku, Leao.
AS Roma (3-4-2-1): Svilar; Hermoso, Mancini, Ndicka; Celik, Cristante, Kone, Wesley; Soule, Pellegrini; Dovbyk.
