Indiana is one of several programs involved with the recruitment of Amir Brown, a 4-star running back out of Rolesville High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, who was previously committed to Bill Belichick and North Carolina, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
As stated above, Brown is rated
as a 4-star by Rivals/On3, ranking in as the 20th highest-rated running back and 270th highest-rated prospect in the class of 2026 in the Rivals Industry Ranking. Other programs involved include Notre Dame, Nebraska and Florida State, with the Fighting Irish receiving an expert prediction to ultimately land Brown’s commitment by Rivals yesterday.
Standing at 5’11” and weighing in at 200 lbs, per Rivals, Brown fits the general archetype of back the Hoosiers tend to target when recruiting. He’d fit right into John Miller’s room in Bloomington, especially with Indiana needing more young talent at the position heading into the future. Obviously the Notre Dame prediction is less than ideal for those efforts, but it can’t hurt to try.
