Good morning Gang Green Nation!
The New York Jets have ruled Justin Fields out for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tyrod Taylor will make the start at quarterback for the Jets. Taylor is a solid if uninspiring backup quarterback who protects the football well but is unlikely to put up a ton of points. He’ll need to shake off quite a bit of rust for this game, as the last game Taylor started was nearly two years ago when he was with the New York Giants. The last time Taylor started more
than six games in a season was way back in 2017 with the Buffalo Bills. It’s asking a lot of Taylor at this point in his career to right the ship and get the Jets a win, but you play the cards you’re dealt. Let’s hope Taylor comes up aces.
