I’ve come to hate the phrase “must-win game.” Because it’s so frequently used incorrectly that it drives me insane. So I don’t want to say that today’s game is a must-win situation; because mathematically it’s not. But it is the closest you can get to it being a must-win situation without it being one.
A loss here means an 0-4 start and some decisions have to be made; namely about the employment status of one Nick Caley. It’s a big game against a team we hate which is in the middle of a rebuild at home.
They have no excuses for losing this game.
