The Eagles made their final roster cuts on Sunday
and are starting to build their practice squad, which includes the Bears 2024 third-round draft pick, OT Kiran Amegadjie.He’s someone new to Philly, but with the team having two offensive tackles claimed through the waiver wire on Monday — Cameron Williams and Myles Hinton —, they were able to bring in someone with potential that they can develop at the position.
The OT is 6-foot-5, 324 pounds, and was drafted out of Yale with the 75th overall pick.
Amegadjie played in six games for the Bears his rookie season, but did struggle a bit with his hands, drawing two holding calls and one false start, in addition to two offsides flags that were declined. He ended up on IR in Sept. 2025 for an elbow injury, and missed the remainder of what would have been his second season.
The Eagles have a strong group of OTs on the active roster, and Amegadjie will now get a chance to learn behind Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, and even rookie Markel Bell who has really impressed throughout training camp.
