NFL insider warns Bengals are on the verge of making a huge mistake before the regular season begins
To Turner’s credit, he could have held-in all of training camp looking for a deal. It wouldn’t have even been the wrong move for him. This falls on Cincinnati looking like they will be giving a player an extension a year too late again. Maybe turner plays himself out of Cincinnati’s price range as they commit to claiming to be having cap issues. They will also have to potentially pay a breaking out Myles
Murphy next season after declining his 5th-year option earlier this offseason.
While this is an exciting team for so many reasons, it certainly feels like it could be going into a rough Offseason yet again.

New Nameplates Mean A New Bengals Locker Room: ‘We’ve Got A Real Chance’
Center and captain Ted Karras looked at the room after Tuesday’ practice and concluded, “We’ve got a real chance. We’ve got to play to it. A deep team. We’ve got to play to it. It’s an easy team to lead. A lot of guys that want to do the right thing all the time. High energy guys, too. One of the toughest (offensive line) rooms I’ve ever been a part of. Comes to work every day and fights through things.”
There certainly seems to be a bit more of a buzz than last year. Last year was all about starting fast. Now it is feeling like they have a shot at a ring.
Bengals’ Stewart grateful to practice again after knee injury
“In that moment I felt like a little, tiny pop,” Stewart said. “I thought it was over. But thankfully God was on my side.”
I can not imagine the mental roller coaster a professional athlete goes through in those split seconds as something like this happens. Obviously, your health is the immediate worry, but then it has to creep in that you likely just went from practicing to play a full season of NFL football to spending it rehabbing. Another fortunate break for the player.
Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins injury updates from Bengals Week 1 prep
All things considered, while the names are big, there’s no overwhelming reason for concern here for Chase or Higgins. Official injury reports will start next week ahead of the Week 1 game against Tampa Bay on September 13.
One of those things when you see these guys mentioned as being injured it turns your head and maybe makes your heart skip a beat. Luckily nothing seems serious.

Raiders name Kirk Cousins starting QB to begin 2026 season; top pick Fernando Mendoza backup
It will be fun to see this play out. Cousins seems like he still has it to a degree, but at some point the No. 1 overall pick needs to see the field right?
Top 10 NFL offenses in 2026? Bears, Bills, Rams headline my projection
The Bengals have ranked no lower than eighth in OPPG in all three of Joe Burrow’s healthy seasons, and he hasn’t missed multiple games in consecutive seasons yet. So, by my calculations, Cincinnati is due for a return to the top 10 in 2026!
No surprise to see Cincinnati on this list. If Burrow plays in every game it isn’t a question of whether the offense operates at a Top 10 level, it is how high in the Top 10.
Cowboys’ Stephen Jones on Pickens, Lamb: Not sure any team can pay two WRs at top of market
“I don’t know of any teams that really can pay two top receivers top of the market, so that’s gonna be a real difficult situation as we move forward,” he said. “We’ve managed to figure out how we can do it for this year. If everything works out the way we think it is, [in] which CeeDee and George both have huge years again, then it’ll be a bigger challenge next year.”
Apparently the Bengals are the only team who isn’t too cheap to pay their top two wide receivers.
