The Cleveland Browns are about to enter the free agency period. On the first three days next week, March 9-11, is the tampering period where player agents can get with GMs of NFL clubs and negotiate contracts, and then come to an agreement.
Even though the contracts then become known and are announced, none of this is official until the first day of the 2026 league year, which will begin at midnight:01 a.m. (Eastern), on March 12.
