Bernd Buchmasser: There won’t be any offensive fireworks on Sunday, but that will not be necessary for New England to steal a victory. While the team is dealing with some injuries, cutting down on takeaways and putting pressure on Trevor Lawrence’s supporting cast will do the trick and give the Patriots a second straight W. | Patriots 23, Jaguars 17

Matt St. Jean: For the first time in quite some time, Drake Maye and New England’s offense won’t be facing a ferocious front. I think he and the offense find their footing down south to put the Patriots above .500 for the first time this season. | Patriots 27, Jaguars 20
Pat Lane: Both defenses haven’t gotten the shine they deserve, but they’re both solid units. I think the offenses have a little trouble, but that the Patriots are able to move the ball a little better and come away with the victory | Patriots 21, Jaguars 17
Dylan Klayman: I can’t predict the Patriots to score in the high 20s to low 30s quite yet. I haven’t seen much explosiveness from this offense, that just hasn’t been in a rhythm in the first two games. This Jaguars defense is probably the easiest they have seen so far, which is saying something about the defenses the Patriots have faced. The offense for the Jaguars struggled against the Broncos last week. While the Broncos have a very talented defense, the Patriots defense has played up to the level of any other defense in the league thus far. I think, once again, the defense leads the Patriots to their second straight win. | Patriots 20, Jaguars 17
Andrew Guindon: Amidst New England’s injuries, particularly on the defense, the Jaguars are going to score the ball, and the Patriots will have to keep up. I think as Maye truly finds his footing in this matchup, accepting the short passing game, he’ll lead New England’s offense past Jacksonville. | Patriots 30, Jaguars 27
